FAVORITE SITCOMS ALL TIME

What is your all time favorite sitcom? I love Seinfield, but have to admit The Andy Griffin Show probably sent a better message. I loved both of them as well as The 70 show and a few other shows. What are some of the other good ones? And don't say The Simpsons, cartoons should be saved for Saturday morning.

OK, Here's a comment for your post. I dont have time for the other one. The best sitcom of all time is ............ Seinfeld ("not that there's anything wrong with" the other sitcoms). I dont like the idea of all those "the greatest of all time is ..." discussions.

I do want to break it down by decades, since I've now seen a few of them :)

The 50's (I saw in reruns) best sitcom has to be "The Honeymooners"

The 60's (I saw in reruns) has to be Gilligan's Island. I remember watching it every afternoon after school (elementary)

The 70's has to be, Happy Days. I even had a Fonzie shirt. I loved to wear that shirt to school. The Fonz was the coolest person on earth.

The 80's, I guess Three's Company but the decade for me was watching cable tv for the first time, and this new cool channel, MTV. I guess my favorite show of the 80's was DYNASTY.

The 90's, Seinfeld was the champion sitcom, but the show for me was really the X-FILES!!! It was great!!!

The 00's, It's all about 24 :)

So, there's a little bit of TV history for me.

best sitcom of all time has to be Friends. The story telling was great, every actor suited their character perfectly and they quit when it was time to. Seinfeld was exactly what it claimed to be, "a show about nothing." They had some good shows and i liked the way they would twist a story around itself but time never passed by. no one ever grew up or advanced in life, they just were. anyway have fun with this one guys.
