Forgetful???

Ed was in trouble. He had forgotten his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him, "Tomorrow morning I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in less then 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!!"

The next morning Ed got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box, gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe, ran out to the driveway, and brought the box into the house. She opened it and found ....




a brand new bathroom scale.

Ed has been missing for over a week.

It sounds like "Jack Bauer" could end up in jail if he is found guilty of violating his probation for a 04 DUI. I guess he will be starring in a prisonbreak spin off if this happens. I guess people will never learn to not "drink and drive".

Hugo, a category 4 Hurricane, struck Charleston SC and continued inland all the way to Charlotte. Hugo was the most costly hurricane to ever hit the US at that time. I was in Columbia, SC when Hugo struck and I have memories that I will never forget. The howling wind, watching transformers blow up and light the Columbia skyline, and driving around in my VW Beetle a few hours that night as the wind and rain arrived.

Lousy performance warrants fan exodus!

Jeremy and I did stay til the bitter end of that game. I was so excited when Jeremy invited me on Thursday to go to this game. The Panthers had a chance to start 2-0 and grab the division with their next three games (Falcons, Bucs, and Saints). We built a 14-0 lead but then the wheels came off that wagon. It was Deja Vu, since the last game that we saw at Panther Stadium, started the same way. I hope that the next time I go to a Panther game that the Panthers get behind 14-0 and we may just win that one.
